Stop calling your spouses cheap things like honey, sweet, chocolate, sugar. (it makes them look cheap! some of these things cost only 1 dollar.) start calling them names like my bag of rice, my keg of diesel, my iphone13, my range rover, my oil well, my gallon of petrol & my bag of cement.
